What Is the Violet Flame?
A great deal of information has been circulated about Saint Germain and the Violet Flame through the writings of C.W. Leadbeater, Alice Baily, Benjamin Creme, Guy Ballard, Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and others. An internet search also shows a few people who claim to be channeling Saint Germain. It is not my intent to either support or refute any of these writings. Rather, I would very simply try to explain what the Violet Flame means to me, and how I use it in my Reiki healings.
The Violet Flame is not new... although its name may be. It is an extremely powerful spiritual tool, said to have been released for use by all sentient beings through the sponsorship of Ascended Master Saint Germain in 1929. Saint Germain had, like all of us, many incarnations on this planet. One of his incarnations was as Joseph of Nazareth, Jesus' earthly father, and when I address Saint Germain in prayer, that is how I perceive him.
I see The Violet Flame as one of the many healing graces that come to us from God, through the Holy Spirit. It is also known as "The Violet Flame of Forgiveness and Transmutation", as it is said that the flame has the power to transmute or transform all forms of "negative" or "lower" energies into positive energy, and this includes the power to transform our personal karma.
I believe that the key to this transmutation is forgiveness. It is we who must do the work of forgiveness....we must forgive others and forgive ourselves. I believe that Saint Germain sponsored the "Violet Flame" in 1929 to remind us that forgiveness is possibly the greatest lesson that we must learn. To learn to forgive as Jesus forgives, as our Heavenly Father forgives. To learn to see ourselves and each other as the perfect, guiltless sons and daughters of God that we are. When we forgive all those who we believe have hurt us, we dissolve the karmic ties. It can help to realize that, although we may see ourselves as "victims" in certain situations, those experiences were an important
part of our soul's development. We label those experiences as "bad" because they are painful to us emotionally or physically, when in actuality they have all served to assist our souls in their progress.
There will be times when we feel that we just cannot forgive someone, times when we feel that we cannot be forgiven by someone else, and times when we feel that we cannot forgive ourselves. These are the times that we need to ask for the Violet Flame. Even if our conscious self-- or ego self--cannot forgive, the Violet Flame can help us to forgive ourselves and others at the deepest soul level, even if we are at first not outwardly aware of it. Just the act of wanting to forgive, and asking for the grace of the Violet Flame, is such a beautiful act of love. This in itself begins the process of transmuting the lower energies into the divine energies of love.
When I invoke the Violet Flame for you during your Reiki Distance Healing Session, I am asking God to send Saint Germain to fill you with the Violet Flame and to surround you in the Violet Flame, cutting and dissolving all psychic and karmic ties from this lifetime or any lifetime which no longer serve you, releasing them in love, forgiveness, and gratitude. I ask that the Violet Flame would transmute all negative or lower karma or energies within and around you, in so far as is possible, for your highest good, and according to God's will. The reason that I add "in so far as is possible, for your highest good" is that there may be karmic lessons that you wished to learn during this lifetime, for the progress of your soul, and certainly these should remain available to you. Even so, the Violet Flame can act to "soften" our life-lessons, helping us to learn them on a more conscious level, rather than through the "school of hard knocks". And so I ask that, as the karmic and psychic ties which no longer serve you are cut and dissolved, they will be replaced with new, positive opportunities for your soul's growth and development. I also ask that the Violet flame will dissolve all negative thoughts and blockages in any part of you that may be keeping you from experiencing your joy, abundance, and perfect health. And I pray that the Violet Flame will free you of all needless burdens, removing all fear from within you, creating a perfect pathway for you to connect with the Divine Love, Light, and Power within you.
Although I include the Violet Flame in your healing sessions, I do believe that it is important that you try in some manner to participate in the process by practicing forgiveness in your own life. You do not need to believe in the Violet Flame to do this. You simply need to ask God --in your own way-- to give you the grace to forgive all those who you believe had hurt you, and to grant you the grace to forgive yourself for the times when your thoughts, words, and actions have not been loving toward yourself or others.
Reiki healing complements traditional medicine. Everyone is able to benefit from it. However, I am not a doctor, nor a health care professional of any kind. Reiki healing should not be construed as the practice of medicine. Although it is my sincere hope and prayer that you will receive the healing that you desire, no specific outcomes can be predicted or guaranteed. If you are experiencing physical or psychological problems, you should seek medical attention. If you are already under the care of a physician, you should continue to follow your treatment plan as prescribed.
